From America to Afghanistan, China to Rothchild the world seems to be careening out of control. The truth is we have been in this situation for a while now. When the World Trade Center collapsed into a fiery inferno, the world shook and has been shaking ever since.
We are hours away from Tisha B'Av and we seem to be entering another level of chaos. America "our friend" is in clear decline. The Middle East is quaking and the disgruntled "masses" are making Woodstock Tel Aviv style. With all of this going on fear and uncertainty are growing. And despite all of this we are ignoring the simple solution to our problems and that solution is to know with perfect and complete belief that the Moshiach is here with us. The answer to our problems is not QE3, government entitlement, better military, but the full and complete revelation of Moshiach and the rebuilding of the Beit Hamikdash.
Reb Nathan of Breslev points out that the purpose of the Beit HaMikdash was to remind Am Yisrael and the nations of the world what the true purpose of life is about. We forget that this world is part of , many worlds above and that our spiritual galut is one where we are disconnected from birth with our source. Geulah is the revelation of our true connection above. The only thing that can guide us properly is a clear focus and goal in life. The Beit HaMikdash reminds of that goal and with impending Geulah and the realization that all is for the best we will once again be sad no more because we and the whole world will know the truth and live by it.
So beautiful. You just helped me to understand why when in all the other years the sadness was overwhelming as these 9 days approached. Now, my husband and I are here in Yerushalayim, and today erev Tisha B'Av I feel a little like I am preparing for a Yom Tov. Maybe because I have seen with my own eyes the rebuilding of Yerushalayim, the excavations being done daily, and the artifacts being revealed for us to marvel at and find in them the message from Shomayim. Just recently the Pomegranate Bell, and now a 2000 year old Sword and Menorah Sketch! I had to post about this.

ReplyDeleteAmerica will fall and nothing will be found to help her. America is not the nation Hashem has promised that will lead the nations at the end of day. Israel is.
America is not the nation that Hashem identifies as a holy nation. Israel is.
It does not have the heart of Hashem. And xtianity does not equal the Torah, it contradicts it and does not please Hashem, the Jewish G-d. You cannot learn how to please the G-d of Avraham from those who follow other gods. You should not learn from the enemies of Hashem how to grow spiritually. The Torah is not irrelevant, the Beis Hamikdahs is not irrelevant, the teaching of the Rabbis are not irrelevant, Judaism is not irrelevant, and Israel is not irrelevant. Anyone who tells you different, is practicing Avodah Zarah and they should be killed. And when Ben Yishai is here, they will be driven from the holy land, every one of them.
And as sure as umplacable life, the Beis Hamikdash will stand in its' place, and soon. Esavs' weapon is his sword, Yaakovs' weapon is his davening. We must daven. And build the Beis Hamikdash for the service and benefit of the world.
